Hello and thank you for reading my post. This blog will primarily be about home staging....but something else is on my mind tonight. I am thinking about the season we are in. It's summer and the best case scenario is to move the family to their new locale BEFORE the new school year starts...this can be calming to little ones and teens in a normally tumultuous time. Think about how stressful moving is on adults - in fact, it's up there w/ divorce and death!! I actually know of someone who wanted to move back to his previous city after a few months because his daughter was absolutely traumatized when he uprooted the family....thankfully one little girl made all the difference in his daughter's life and she was able to finally assimilate to her new environment....and I'm quite sure that little girl had no idea the impact she had on that family (at least not initially). I firmly believe that most of the time, we have no idea how we affect others. I also truly believe that people are in our lives for a reason, a season or a lifetime. If you look back on your life, I bet you can find people who fit into one of those boxes....So please say a kind word to someone, hold your temper when you don't feel like it and strive to be a blessing to someone because you may be the best thing that's ever happened to them.
