Time to Meet My Mentor!!

I talked w/ one of my best friends this week and she informed me she's going to a conference in Dallas. She then proceeded to tell me that she is going to WACO either before or after her conference to see the "Magnolia empire!" "It's only a 2 hour drive from Dallas," she gushed. CAN YOU BELIEVE SHE COULDN'T FIND ANYONE TO GO W/ HER??? Unthinkable!! I told her I would go with her!! (We live several hundred miles from each other and it is taking some finessing to coordinate everything). But in any event, two admirers of Chip and Joanna Gaines are going to be drooling while they're there!! Joanna has been my mentor ever since she came on the scene...she has certainly put little 'ol Waco on the map!! I have been a fan and subscriber to their magazine, have purchased several items online and can't wait to see their store, bakery, restaurant and bed and breakfast in person!! I have no idea if we'll actually SEE Chip or Joanna but it sure would be nice.....can't wait!!
