I just got home from a meeting w/ a realtor (whom I befriended last year) and a loan officer. My realtor friend and I used to meet on a regular basis, but life had gotten crazy and we stopped getting together. Big mistake. She introduced me to this bubbly loan officer who was delightful and will be helping me with my business.... and I foresee many years of friendship and networking in the future.
Contrary to what some entrepreneurs will tell you, business is not about numbers, quotas and goals. Business is about connecting with others. It's about forming relationships that can last a lifetime. So if you haven't called a colleague in a while or connected with someone lately, do it! You never know how your life could change for the better. :)
